Flying
In the fall of 2010, I began the process of chasing my Private Pilot's License. Little did I know at the time, but the journey would teach me far more about who I am than about actually flying. Most of the challenges I have faced are more about really having the attiude of a "Pilot in Command" than the mechanics of stick and rudder pilotage.
I've found many links which are useful to Pilots, especially in Florida, and have made a short list here. As always, they're not for flight planning etc. etc. but you may find them useful (especially the weather and SUA ones). In no particular order, we have:
- FAA TFR Maps
- FAA SUA Maps
- Unisys K Index
- Unisys Lifted Index
- Unisys Forecast Lift/Rel humidity
- Aviation Weather (NWS)
