Flute and EWI Stuff
Here, you can find various things I've written (or, more frequently, am in the process of writing) about my studies on the flute.
Subsections here include a guide to jazz flute playing (which is hardly a quarter done), some lesson notes I took from some time with Ali Ryerson (more about Ali here) and Shaul Ben Meir (see his website fluteworld.com - I can't recommend that store highly enough). For EWI stuff (Electronic Wind Instrument), take a look at Patchman Music, who I have done business with several times over several years, and have always been happy with the result.
Note that Ali has a marvelous book on Jazz Flute available for sale. It's a good resource, and well worth the money. See her website for more information.
From time to time I've written some thoughts down on Jazz Flute, or flute playing in general. These articles are collected below; some are good, some much less so. Remember, though, that you get what you pay for!

I've been lucky to have found an excellent teacher - Nancy Clew. Nancy's knowledge of the flute is extraordinary, but what I shall always be profoundly grateful to her for is her patience, good humor, encouragement and the occasional kick in the pants.
